MVW-GFAFB- AM Warehouse Worker

Recycling Warehouse Worker/Driver 

Hours: Tuesday, Thursday 8am-2pm

An employee in this position would be responsible for picking up recyclable products, operating recycling equipment to include driving a small truck and working with the public. 

Essential Functions:

Under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1.  Unload of all large trucks or vans that are not suitable for service through the drive through.
2. Pick up recycling products from area businesses as scheduled utilizing a delivery truck.
3. Provide support to the drive through by maintaining a ready supply of empty boxes and pallets.
4. Perform pre-inspections, prior to use of equipment to include forklift, bobcat, electric pallet jack, pallet jacks, trucks and baler on a daily basis. 
5. Obey safety rules and lock out tag out procedures for all recycling equipment
6. Prepare written reports as required by the Agency such as: weight tickets, bills of lading, maintenance requests and preventative maintenance sheets.
7. Keep warehouse-working conditions safe and clean, i.e.; proper stacking of pallets, bales pallet rack, Gaylord boxes.  Also keep floors dry and clean.
8. Provide customer service to area business following the Kalix Adapt values.
9. All other duties as assigned.

   Qualifications:

         18 years or older.

         A high school diploma or GED.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Ability to communicate effectively.
2. Ability to be honest, reliable, dependable and professional at all times.
3. Ability to make sound, rational judgments and problem solve independently.
4. Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. .
5. Ability to fill out required agency paperwork.
